Valentines Day

Well the big game is over and even though Oregon didn't win the BCS championship we still love our Ducks. As we start the year I'm turning my attention to Valentines day. I absolutely love this day. Not only is it a time to be with your honey but do special things for the ones you don't always get to do things for normally. (family and friends) Last Valentine's Day I took 60 old photos of family and friends and developed a DVD set to music for my mother. I didn't mean to make her cry but, every time she watches it she does. This was really inexpensive and I did it at Albertsons. It definitely took longer to locate the old photos than to make the DVD. This is a day for sweethearts and I have the best Chocolate cake recipe. I made this cake for Christmas 2009 and OMG it was outstanding. There's a lot of chocolate in it however, it doesn't make it to sweet nor bitter but extremely moist. I will be posting the recipe today.
Have a great day everyone.

First post

This will be my first post. I choose In the Kitchen because in my house this is the place where family and friends comes together. It is the heart beat of the house. I plan to post recipes, (how they turned out) ways to clean items and the general kitchen chit chat.
I would love to have any ideas that I can try and post the results.
